Nature Canada has some words to say about Doug Ford’s new budget.

1. Unleashing The Economy? The term suggests freedom, but in reality, it could mean unchecked development. This shift in approach would lead to unintended consequences for our ecosystems and biodiversity.

2. Special Economic Zones: Imagine areas exempt from existing laws, where development can proceed unchecked. This could mean the end of vital protections for endangered species and indigenous rights.
