Erling Haaland was left out of Manchester City’s starting XI in the Carabao Cup semifinal against Newcastle, and in the absence of the brilliant Norwegian, Omar Marmoush stepped up with two goals in the opening 30 minutes of the match, before Tijjani Reijnders made it three and Anthony Elanga pulled one back for the Magpies.

After the game, Marmoush was obviously happy that he was able to help his team in their pursuit to reclaim the trophy.
