Assembly Member Raga mourns with Filipino community following tragic Lapu Lapu Day festival crash in Canada


Assembly Member Steven Raga expressed sorrow and solidarity this week following the tragic vehicle attack at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival in Vancouver that killed 11 people and injured more than two dozen others.

“We are heartbroken by the devastating attack at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival in Vancouver, where at least 11 lives were tragically lost and dozens more were injured,” Raga said in a statement. “We mourn with the Filipino community in Vancouver and pray for all the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this senseless act.”
