The ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has already started to shake up the player rankings, with several stars making significant moves following the opening round of matches. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has made the biggest splash, reclaiming the crown as the No. 1 all-rounder in T20I cricket.
A total of 20 teams are divided into four groups. Australia are the only team yet to open their campaign in the T20 World Cup. New Zealand opener Tim Seifert is the leading run-getter with 154 runs from two matches at a strike rate of 183.33. USA’s Shadley van Schalkwyk has taken 8 wickets in two games.
Sikandar Raza Reclaims Top Spot Among All-Rounders
Sikandar Raza has been rewarded for his match-winning performance in his side’s T20 World Cup opener against Oman. Raza produced a disciplined spell of 1/17 from his four overs to restrict Oman to just 103 runs and later returned to hit the winning runs.

Raza jumped one place to overtake Pakistan opener Saim Ayub and reclaim the No. 1 spot in the ICC T20I All-Rounder Rankings. The Zimbabwe skipper had previously held the top spot towards the end of 2025.
Saim Ayub slipped to second spot, while India’s Hardik Pandya remains steady at No. 3. Ayub has scored 43 runs in two matches at an average of 21.50 and a strike rate of 136.08. The off-spinner has taken two wickets with the ball.
Sahibzada Farhan Enters Top 3; Massive Gains for Ishan Kishan
The batting charts have seen plenty of movement inside the top 10 after the latest update. Indian opener Abhishek Sharma retained his position at the top of the batting charts. Abhishek Sharma continues to maintain his lead over England’s Phil Salt.
Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan was the biggest mover among batters, jumping four spots to reach a career-best third position. Farhan scored a blistering 73 off 41 balls against the USA, which set the foundation for Pakistan’s victory.
Team India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan made a massive jump of seven spots, moving up to 25th in the rankings. Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett moved up two spots to a career-high 19th after his unbeaten 48 against Oman, and Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis climbed six spots to 12th.
Wanindu Hasaranga Breaks into Top 5; Arshdeep Singh Out of Top 10
Team India mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy continues to hold an advantage over Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed to retain the No. 1 spot. Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga climbed one spot to claim the fifth position, the only change in the top 10.
Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh moved up three places to knock on the door of the top 10 at 11th. Pakistan bowler Salman Mirza jumped nine spots to 13th, while Zimbabwe’s Brad Evans leapt 16 rungs to sit at joint-15th.
New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner (up four to 19th) and Scotland’s Bradley Currie, who surged 25 places to 24th, also made significant strides following the opening round.
